LP LP175 – Cyclops Mounted Tambourine, Brass

The LP LP175 – Cyclops Mounted Tambourine, Brass is a mounted Cyclops tambourine. Add warm, cutting tambourine accents with a comfortable performance-oriented design. Core features include Brass jingles, Patented jingle retention and 3/8-inch rod mounting.

The jingle material and frame design shape the balance of shimmer, attack and projection. The tambourine can reinforce a steady pulse, add emphasis to a backbeat or introduce movement through a transition. Its particular format determines how it is played and positioned within the performance.

The mounting or foot-operated design makes it possible to add the tambourine voice while continuing to play another instrument. It can become part of a drum kit, a cajon arrangement or a solo acoustic performance, with the fitted attachment keeping the sound within the player’s existing movements.
