Hartke Kickback KB15

The Hartke Kickback KB15 is a bass combo amplifier. Position your bass amplifier upright or tilt it back for closer monitoring. The compact combo format brings the amplifier and speaker together, while onboard tone controls help shape your response for practice and performance. Core features include 15-inch HyDrive speaker, 500W peak / 250W RMS amplifier output and Kickback cabinet format.

The amplifier is designed around the low-frequency weight and transient attack of an electric bass. Its power stage and speaker arrangement work together to reproduce the body of a note alongside the articulation of picking, fingers or slap technique. Gain and tone controls help establish a working sound for the instrument, room and playing style.

The HyDrive cone combines paper and aluminium materials to balance a rounded low-frequency character with a more defined attack. The cabinet and driver size determine how that response is presented in the room, while the onboard EQ gives further control over the bass, midrange and high-frequency balance. This is useful when moving between different basses, techniques and rehearsal spaces.

The additional connections extend the amplifier into everyday practice and a wider performance setup. An auxiliary input supports playing along with external audio where fitted, and headphone monitoring provides a close listening option. Direct outputs or an effects loop on equipped models make it easier to connect to a PA, recording input or external processing chain.
