Zildjian A20518 – 20″ A Custom Ride

The Zildjian A20518 – 20″ A Custom Ride is a 20-inch ride cymbal. Bring shimmering definition to ride patterns and broader cymbal textures. Core features include 20-inch diameter, A Custom series and Brilliant finish.

The ride supports the timekeeping pattern while offering a range of sounds across the bow, bell and edge. Stick placement and touch determine the balance between a defined note and the surrounding cymbal wash. Its size and tonal character make it a useful anchor within a drum kit, supporting both steady accompaniment and more open, expressive passages.

The published weight, finish and series details help explain the cymbal’s feel and response. A controlled stroke can maintain a clear pulse, while stronger playing opens the cymbal into a broader texture. This flexibility allows the ride voice to move with the dynamics of the ensemble.
